Hosting Features: Email¶
Hosting Features > Email
This menu section in SiteWorx is where SiteWorx users can manage the email addresses, groups, aliases, and autoresponders for the account. It also provides management for bounce message settings, and mailing lists, along with a link to webmail options.
NodeWorx users have the ability to determine the number of email boxes, aliases, groups, and autoresponders an account is allowed to have, as well as if the account should have access to mailing lists. These options are managed via the Edit menu located in NodeWorx, under SiteWorx > Accounts. If any of the above options are set to 0, or disabled, the associated menu items will not appear in the SiteWorx interface.
Documentation related to managing email services in SiteWorx can be found here.

Overview¶
Hosting Features > Email > Overview
The Email Overview page provides information on the number of allotted mailboxes, aliases, groups, and autoresponders currently in use.
This is also where bounce message settings are managed.
Information about how to manage bounce message settings can be found here.
Mailboxes¶
Hosting Features > Email > Mailboxes
The Mailboxes page allows SiteWorx users the ability to:
Manage email addresses for the domain
Suspend or unsuspend email accounts
Manage copy-to settings for the email account
Manage vacation message settings
Vacation messages can also be managed via both Roundcube and Horde, as well as some third party mail clients.
Information about how to manage email accounts can be found here.
Aliases¶
Hosting Features > Email > Aliases
The Alias page allows SiteWorx users the ability to set up an email address that’s only purpose is to forward messages to any other single email address. Also known as a Fowarder.
Note
This should be used with caution when the recipient address is located remotely. This is because the alias address will forward all messages, including any spam, sent to {alias}@{domain.com} to the recipient. When the fowarding occurs, the InterWorx server becomes the sending server, and not the original spammer. This can lead to the InterWorx server being added to RBLs if the messages are flagged as spam.
Information on how to manage mail aliases can be found here.
Groups¶
Hosting Features > Email > Groups
The Groups page allows SiteWorx users the ability to set up an email address that forwards messages to multiple email addresses.
Note
This should be used with caution when the recipient address is located remotely. This is because the alias address will forward all messages, including any spam, sent to {group}@{domain.com} to the recipient. When the fowarding occurs, the InterWorx server becomes the sending server, and not the original spammer. This can lead to the InterWorx server being added to RBLs if the messages are flagged as spam.
Information on managing email groups can be found here.
Autoresponders¶
Hosting Features > Email > Autoresponders
The Autoresponders page allows SiteWorx users the ability to set up an email address that automatically responds to messages with a user-defined auto-response.
Note
Autoresponders are not meant to be used for vacation messages. Those can be managed from the Mailboxes page in SiteWorx, Horde, or an outside mail client.
Information on how to manage autoresponders can be found here.
