How To: Manage Node Status and Command Queue

From the Node Status page in NodeWorx, administrators can manage the Node status, check for unplayed commands, and view the history of commands that have been cascaded from the Cluster Manager to the Nodes.

To Check Node Status

  1. On the Cluster Manager, log into NodeWorx from the browser (https://ip.ad.dr.ess:2443/nodeworx)

  2. In NodeWorx, navigate to Clustering > Node Status

    node status bar
  3. Under Action, the Status bar indicates the current status of the Nodes

    • It is also possible to control the status of the Nodes from this interface:

      • Play starts the service

      • Arrow restarts/refreshes the service

      • Stop stops the service

To Check Command History

Warning

If the status of Node shows ‘stopped’, please submit a ticket to support.interworx.com for assistance. Do not skip any steps in the Command Queue for that Node, as doing so risks corrupting the queue and throwing the Cluster Manager and Node out of sync.
