How to: Edit POP and IMAP Settings using Dovecot¶
The Mail Delivery Agent (MDA) is responsible for delivering email messages to the recipient inboxes on the server.
From the MDA page in NodeWorx, server administrators may manage the IMAP and POP3 services, including editing the connection limits per IP, SSL mode, cipher suite, and default process limit.
Note
As of InterWorx version 6.3.0, all new installations of InterWorx use Dovecot for MDA services. Customers who installed InterWorx before version 6.3.0, and have not converted an exiting server’s MDA services to Dovecot, should refer to the MDA documentation for courier for information on managing IMAP and POP3.
