IP Address Related Errors When Assigning an Existing SiteWorx Account to a Reseller¶
How the Issue Manifests¶
When assigning an existing SiteWorx account to a different reseller, one of the following errors appears in the GUI:
No IP addresses are available for use
The selected reseller does not have access to the selected IP address
The selected IP address is not available to resellers. This can be changed on the IP Management page
Cause of the Issue¶
Each error has a different cause:
No IP addresses are available for use: The reseller does not have any IP addresses assigned to it
The selected reseller does not have access to the selected IP address: The IP address for the SiteWorx account is not assigned to the reseller
The selected IP address is not available to resellers: The IP address for the SiteWorx account is not allowed to be assigned to resellers
How to Resolve¶
No IP addresses are available for use¶
To resolve this error, add the SiteWorx account’s IP address to the reseller. Information on how to perform this task can be found here.
The selected reseller does not have access to the selected IP address¶
To resolve this error, add the SiteWorx account’s IP address to the reseller. Information on how to perform this task can be found here.
The selected IP address is not available to resellers¶
To resolve this error, edit the IP address so that it is set to be available to resellers. Information on how to perform this task can be found here.
Note
After updating the reseller status for the IP, the reseller’s IP settings will also need to be updated so they have access to the IP address.
