How to: Reset a License’s IP

Sometimes it is necessary to change the IP that an InterWorx Control Panel License is bound to. This is the case when a license is moved from one server to another OR if for some reason the IPs on the server change.

Prerequisites

An InterWorx Control Panel License purchased DIRECTLY from InterWorx, LLC. Those who purchased licenses from reseller partners must ask their reseller to perform this procedure.

How to: Reset a License’s IP

To change the IP that an InterWorx license is bound to, please perform this procedure:

  1. Login at http://my.interworx.com

  2. Click on License (across the top menu). This will give you a list of the licenses assigned to you. You will see the type and status of each license key.

  3. Check the check box next to the correct license key.

  4. Select Change IP from the drop down menu at the bottom of the list.

  5. On the next page replace the old IP with the new one (or leave the form blank) and then click the Update button.

This assumes you bought the license directly from InterWorx, LLC. If you bought your license from one of our reseller partners, you will need to ask them to do this for you.
