How to: Manage Bounce Messages for Email Mailboxes in SiteWorx

From the Email Overview page in SiteWorx, users may define what happens when a message is sent to an email address that does not exist on the domain.

To Enable or Disable Bounce Messages

  1. Log into SiteWorx from the browser (https://ip.ad.dr.ess:2443/siteworx)

  2. In SiteWorx, navigate to Hosting Features > Email > Overview, either from the side menu or SiteWorx home

  3. Next to Bounce Message, select either On or Off:

    • On: Send a “bounce” message back to the sender informing them that the e-mail address they sent to does not exist

    • Off: Silently delete the message without informing the sender that the e-mail address does not exist

  4. Click Save
