How to: Create and Manage Reseller Packages =========================================== Resellers can be assigned to a specific package, which specifies such details as the number of SiteWorx accounts that can be created, monthly bandwidth, disk storage, number of e-mail boxes, etc. All reseller package features are "shared" between the SiteWorx accounts that a reseller creates. For example, if a reseller package allows for ten e-mail boxes, the reseller can create ten SiteWorx accounts, each with one e-mail box, or five SiteWorx accounts, each with two e-mail boxes, etc. .. contents:: To Add a Reseller Package ------------------------- #. Log into NodeWorx from the browser (https://ip.ad.dr.ess:2443/nodeworx) #. In NodeWorx, navigate to **Resellers > Packages** #. Click **...**. This opens an option form #. Select **Add**. This opens the Add a Reseller Package form #. Update the required fields. These include: - **Package Name**: The name used to identify the created package - **Storage Space**: Listed in in megabytes. The maximum amount of storage allowed for the package - **Allow Storage Overselling**: If **Yes** is selected, there is no storage limit for the reseller when creating SiteWorx accounts - If **No** is selected, the reseller will not be allowed to allocate more storage space to SiteWorx accounts than is specified in the `Storage Space` field - **Bandwidth**: Listed in gigabytes. The maximum amount of bandwidth allowed, per month, for the package - **Allow Bandwidth Overselling**: If **Yes** is selected, there will be no bandwidth limit for the reseller when creating SiteWorx accounts. - If **No** is selected, the reseller will not be allowed to allocate more monthly bandwidth to SiteWorx accounts than is specified in the `Bandwidth` field - **SiteWorx Accounts**: The number of SiteWorx accounts the reseller can create - **E-mail Aliases**: The number of e-mail aliases (often called e-mail forwards) allowed - **E-mail Autoresponders**: The number of e-mail autoresponders (sometimes called robots) allowed - **E-mail Boxes**: The number of POP3/IMAP e-mail boxes allowed - **E-mail Groups**: The number of group e-mail boxes allowed - A group e-mail box is an alias that sends to multiple recipients - **FTP Accounts**: The number of FTP accounts allowed - **MySQL Databases**: The number of MySQL databases allowed - **MySQL Users**: The number of MySQL users allowed - **Pointer Domains**: The number of domains that can be pointed to a domain in a SiteWorx account - A pointer domain is a domain that redirects to a specified domain - It can also be referred to as a "parked" domain - **Secondary Domains**: The number of secondary domains that can be added to an account - Secondary domains share all the package feature limits (e-mail boxes, ftp accounts, etc) of the master domain - Secondary domains have their own stats, bandwidth recording, and web space - **Subdomains**: The number of subdomains that can be added to a SiteWorx account #. Click **Save**  To Edit a Reseller Package -------------------------- #. Log into NodeWorx from the browser (https://ip.ad.dr.ess:2443/nodeworx) #. In NodeWorx, navigate to **Resellers > Packages** #. Click the **Pencil** next to the package to be edited. This opens the Edit Reseller Package form #. Modify the desired values #. Click **Save**  To Import a Reseller Package ---------------------------- #. Log into NodeWorx from the browser (https://ip.ad.dr.ess:2443/nodeworx) #. In NodeWorx, navigate to **Resellers > Packages** #. Click **...**. This opens an option form #. Select **Import**. This opens the Package Import form #. In the `Package File` field, there are two options: - Click **Browse** to choose a backup file on the local machine hard drive - Click the **Folder** to specify the path to a backup file located on the destination/local server #. Click **Import** To Back Up a Reseller Package ----------------------------- #. Log into NodeWorx from the browser (https://ip.ad.dr.ess:2443/nodeworx) #. In NodeWorx, navigate to **Resellers > Packages** #. Click **Backup** next to the package to be backed up. This opens the Confirm Backup form #. Click **Backup** To Delete a Reseller Package ---------------------------- .. note:: Deleting an existing package does not affect any reseller accounts that have already been created using that package. #. Log into NodeWorx from the browser (https://ip.ad.dr.ess:2443/nodeworx) #. In NodeWorx, navigate to **Resellers > Packages** #. Select the **checkbox** next to the package to be deleted #. Select **Delete** from the With Selected dropdown #. Click **Go**. This opens the Confirm Deletion from #. Click **Delete** to confirm the deletion of the package
